  • The Group's Kai Shing Management Services won an Environmental Performance award in the Business Environment Council's Hong Kong Awards for Industries for its outstanding performance in environmental protection.

  • The Group's Kai Shing and Hong Yip win the Shopping Arcade, Commercial Property and Residential Property management categories in the  Sing Tao Excellent Services Brand Awards 2009.

  • The Group's Hong Yip wins a Capital Outstanding Enterprise – Property Management award for the fourth time.

  • The Group's Hong Yip Service Company won a Most Innovative award and certificate of excellence for its horticultural training programme in the Hong Kong Management Association's 2009 Awards for Excellence in Training.

  • The Group's Kai Shing Management Services and Hong Yip Service Company won over a hundred awards for outstanding eco-friendly management in the Source Separation of Domestic Waste Competition organized by the Environmental Protection Department. Three of their estates were among the six winners of the Diamond awards given out for best performance in recycling rates.

  • Prestigious Cityscape Architectural Award for the City Art Square, the first in Hong Kong.

  • The Sun Hung Kai Charitable Fund and Leisure & Cultural Services Department shared an Outstanding Art Promotion award at the 2008 Hong Kong Arts and Design Festival for the City Art Square contribution to public art.   • Singapore's project ION Orchard won the gold medal in the business-to-business marketing category at the prestigious Asia Shopping Centre Awards presented by the International Council of Shopping Centres.

  • Won the Eco-Business award from Prime magazine for the second year running in recognition of commitment to green development.

  • Won Hong Kong Enterprise Environmental Achievement Award 2008 from Hong Kong Environmental Protection Association in recognition of its green policy to development.

  • Shanghai IFC was the first commercial development to get Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) gold pre-certification from the US Green Building Council in Shanghai.

  • The Parcville won the Grand Award and Park Central won a Merit Award in the Existing Building category of the 2008 Green Building Awards from the Professional Green Building Council.

  • Won 20 of the Best Landscape Award 2008, including a grand award of excellence and six golds.  The Ma Wan Park Nature Garden won three awards including a grand award of excellence and a gold in Landscape Design plus a gold for Horticultural Maintenance.

  • Park Island was named the most energy-efficient residential estate in Hong Kong in the Friends of the Earth's third Power Smart contest.

  • Bronze medal for Manhattan Hill in 2008 HKMA/TVB Awards for Marketing Excellence.

  • East Point City won top honours in the first Brands Original from Hong Kong Awards presented by CAPTIAL Entrepreneur.

  • International Commerce Centre, The Cullinan and Peak One win Considerate Contractor awards.

  • Community Chest 2007/2008 President's Award and third-top donor (Companies, Organisations & Individuals Category) honours.

  • Awarded the five-year Plus designations by the Caring Company campaign from the Hong Kong Council of Social Service. The organizers introduced the five-year Plus logo for companies that met at least three of the six caring company criteria (volunteering, being employee friendly, employing the vulnerable, caring for the environment, mentoring and giving) between 2002/03 and 2007/08. The Group got high marks in all six criteria.

2007

  • Ranked top developer globally, and top in Asia and Hong Kong for the third consecutive year, in the Liquid Real Estate awards, scoring a twofold margin of victory in the Asian category.

  • Vice Chairman and Managing Director Raymond Kwok given a Lifetime Achievement award for Outstanding Contribution to the Development of Asia's Financial Markets by Euromoney magazine.
