Tempting new items have been added to the always popular holiday lunch buffet at The Royal Garden's Sabatini Ristorante Italiano, making a visit to Hong Kong's favourite ‘Roman’ restaurant even more of an occasion.
Latest choices include grilled king prawns, grilled Chilean sea bass, grilled squid, grilled New Zealand beef tenderloin, grilled lamb chops and grilled chicken. Guests may also enjoy unlimited sparking Italian wine or chilled juice and a live band adds to the holiday atmosphere.
Other popular items such as pan-fried snapper fillet with vine-ripe tomatoes, capers and black olive sauce, braised free-range chicken alla cacciatora with wild mushrooms and polenta, grilled slices of beef tenderloin with white wine navy beans and spring potatoes and chef's personal favourite, pan-fried duck liver with black truffle sauce, remain, as do fresh Boston lobsters.
The lunch buffet also features freshly made pasta – prepared only to order at a cooking station in the restaurant and a choice of main courses which changes weekly, including the restaurant’s signature item - linguine alla Sabatini, and a wide selection of desserts including gelato ice cream.
Popular for its authentic 'Roman' cuisine which is served in a relaxed, countryside setting, Sabatini's holiday lunch buffet costs just HK$548 for adults and HK$388 for children plus 10% service (Sunday Lunch Buffet), and HK$508 for adults and HK$348 for children plus 10% service (Saturday Lunch Buffet).
